Anyone know what [blue] trees are being used?

The illustrations look vaguely like Paulownia; off-hand I can't think of 
another blue/purple flowered tree, and the others look like Black Walnut. But 
my experience of Landscape Artichokes suggests they're probably just pretty 
pictures Peter.

Also at this side of the Pennines Paulownia flowering that profusely is 
something of a rarity, actually Paulownia is a rarity, although we've got one 
and there's one outside the Co-op in Harthill that survives despite the 
owner's attempt to burn through its trunk.
