Further to Paul's comments regarding how little business his website
generates, I'd agree entirely. And Luke's confirmation of Nick's supposition,
I agree entirely with that as well.
Not so long ago I was rung up by someone who thought that I might like to
spend a few quid a month on sticking a small poster in the lobby of a local
DIY store, this few quid a month would've amounted to a couple of hundred a
year.... I never cease to be astounded by how the advertising fraternity
routinely over-value their services. They seem to be of the opinion that
we're all flogging super-dooper jumbo-sized washing powder.
Joyously, I understand that Yelldotcom, or whatever they're called, are in
fairly deep debt-inspired mire, which I shall take as confirmation of of my
appraisal of their mistaken valuation of their product and their near
irrelevance to our industry....
Then again what do I know? And here's an article that possibly proves I know
nothing;
