DRPA = Diploma in Parks Recreation &
Administration

I think the qualification is  now
defunct but it was mainly taken by
students entering parks from Kew or
Wisley many years ago. Some studied full
time for it at the Grotto near Goring on
Thames Sea the PRA HQ an interesting
building alongside the Thames.

I have a feeling these organisations may
have amalgamated with baths, cemeteries
and similar.

Can anyone tell me what the above stands
for?  It apparently has
something to do with arboriculture as it
mentioned in a tree report that
has landed on my desk.  But bu**ered if
I have heard of it and can't
find anything on t'internet.
