Hi Paul, seen Ganoderma on Lime a few times and it does take on a
slightly different form to what you might expect. We had a Lime snap out
a 8m height and the G, was all hidden inside ... ... That was a
nightmare tree up on the common in Dorking town. While cutting up the 1m
plus but, we hit a massive chunk of metal that ruined my big old 33"
Dolmar. The metal turned out to be a 30mm bullet from a fighter during
the 2nd world war ...

Any ideas, thought it was an old Ganoderma bracket??? The more I stare
