The sub-agenda here is that no LPA would make a plan or policies that
allocated ASNW for development so in saying it's OK to build on it OP is
saying the guiding principal ie plan and policy lead, of the TCPA no
longer applies.

The minister makes the mistake of thinking that an ancient woodland is
just trees.  The woodland is the organism not the trees.
Would he think building 200 modern houses was an adequate compensation
for destroying a mediaeval manor house?
