Try contacting:
ana.perez-sierra@xxxxxxxxx.gsi.gov.uk
She was/is in the Tree Health Diagnostic & Advisory Service based at Alice
Holt but may have moved....?
She confirmed P. cinnamomi from decayed Castanea roots I sent in.
Cost was £45.
Took 4 weeks to get a response.

Subject: Submitting Larch sample to Forest Research for testing

Morning All,
having tried for a number of days now to speak to a person at Alice Holt
Forest Research, and continuously getting put through to other FC offices
around the country, I have given up and turned to the collective wisdom of
UKTC.

Has anyone out there sent off a sample of Larch trunk to Forest Research to
try and get a positive ID on P. ramorum definitely being present?

If so, could you advise on what you sent them, how you sent it, who you sent
it to, how much it cost and how long the results took to come back?

I have emailed Forest Research as well, but no answer so far.

many thanks as always
Bettina
