Have a look at this - it is good for parking and occasional vehicle movements
on and off, but not as a roadway.

all the best

Thanks Martyn and Phillip

it will only be used for cars and on an existing hard surface in parts, I
take you point about high heels and being slippy when wet. The area I'm
looking to cover is probably about 300sq m, with only the edges inside the
RPA of the trees in question, any other suggestions would be welcome as to
product

Hi Andy we have used it here at the botanics for a few temporary and
long term projects. My comments below are what we've found here

1. Quite stiff and can be hard to man-handle in to place.
2. Can be quite slippy especially with some smooth soled footwear.
3. Needs a lot of ground pins to ensure it doesn’t lift and form a
trip hazard.
4. Found to be a trip hazard for those in high-heels!
5. Difficult to lift after use - pulling out of the overgrown grass.
6. We had in rolls and they are a pain to store.
7. Intensifies the wear at edges and ends.

But effective at reducing wear overall :)

So we use it in wet summers and pre events at pre-identified wear
points

Hope that helps

Martyn

Hi
Has anyone used this for temporary car parking, driveways within RPA?
and was it successful?
