Monkey Puzzle Root Structure

Subject: Monkey Puzzle Root Structure

Dear tree people,

I'm producing a tree protection plan for a proposed driveway near a Monkey
Puzzle.

Please can anyone tell me what sort of root structure these trees have? Are
they a typical depth formed in the usual primary, secondary, tertiary...
fibrous manner, or are they more Palm like?

Also, is the 12x stem diameter calculation applicable or has anyone used a
different approach.

I have never seen a windblown Monkey Puzzle!

Thanks for reading,

Ben Brooker.
