I would like to hear Lynne's thoughts or anybody else's on the issue of
when what action(s) should be taken at various states of decline.

I would like to know just how current assessments handle trends up
(presumably with treatment) or down, but most importantly in the "down"
category, such as when the state of the tree's decline cannot or will not
be arrested and reversed. At what stage of decline should the tree be
removed?

I would also like to hear comments about tree failures, presumably under
the best possible management, that have failed following professional
assessment and found sound, but turned out to have had apparent defects
with high predictive value for failure.
