The deer will be trained to shoot anybody from up north trying to get into
the south.

That hadn't occurred to me; shows you how much I know about shooting.
Precisely how do these deer get on to the high seats that HS2 will pay for?
Bill.

What are these grant aided deer going to shoot Bill? I must look
further into the HS2 material. Truly fascinating.

The HS2 stuff looks interesting; they'll grant aid shooting deer it
seems... Can't see them running to some street trees Edmund but like
you, I'm well out of touch with these matters.

Bill.

Further to Bill and Rod's comments about the need to address
woodland neglect I see there is a sum put aside for PAWS restoration
in the new
fund:

I'm well out of the woodland grant market now but I thought these
days it was EU money so wonder what is planned after 2019? I haven't
looked at that new Northern Forest Project yet but maybe it'll pay
for a few hundred new street trees in Sheffield (or are you too far south
Bill?
:)).
