the interconnectedness of things, and eventually a philosophical 
consideration of the ethics of killing plants.

Some of our friends in the former colonies, and beyond, may not be able to 
access the BBC site from the link above, but you might get somewhere with “Is 
eating plants wrong” and “James Wong” BBC Radio 4.
