non-invasive cable bracing

Subject: non-invasive cable bracing

While I'm at it,

What is the forums opinion on these things?

I had previously liked the idea for reinforcing old steel cables,
non-invasive but still with the "rigidity" of steel cable.

But as these looked to have been in place for a while I called the supplier
to ask how long the webbing section should last.

Their reply was 5 years like all textile products and harnesses..

Seems a bit pointless to install something that needs changing every 5 years
but if that's their advice..
