While I'm at it, What is the forums opinion on these things? I had previously liked the idea for reinforcing old steel cables, non-invasive but still with the "rigidity" of steel cable. But as these looked to have been in place for a while I called the supplier to ask how long the webbing section should last. Their reply was 5 years like all textile products and harnesses.. Seems a bit pointless to install something that needs changing every 5 years but if that's their advice..
