I watched Kingsman (the first one) with the kids yesterday, for those that haven't seen it Samuel L Jackson plays the bad guy, his evil plan is to get 99% of the population to kill each other as it's the only way to save the planet.

The only problem I see with his dastardly plan is that it won't take long for the remaining 1% to get to the same sorry state as we're in now. We really are a stupid, selfish species.

Rod,
Unfortunately I am inclined to agree, at the present time we are
suffering from damage done years ago, what is the future going to bring? I
remember some of the pesticides used on the nurseries and in agriculture when
I was a student, there was a build of resistance in populations such as
Aphids that insecticides such as metasystox had to be used which killed
everything including humans. Will we ever learn from the trail of destruction
left by previous generations ? A prime example is destruction of the rain
forests for agriculture and palm oil with the loss of species some of which
are unknown to man, ok people will say we need to feed the world but what is
the use when we kill off the people who need the food. Rant over

Will
