Paul,

It is an interesting question and the assumptions of what would be
reasonable (3-5 days) would normally stand as per the portal link provided.
This of course provide all required documentation is submitted with the
application through the portal.

That said, with one local authority we have recently been facing delays of
up to 25 days in registering applications from date of receipt through the
portal. This being down to planning admin staff shortfall.

Provided all documentation submitted is in order the 'clock' would be
ticking from date of online submission through the portal.

Subject: FW: TPO application - validation period

Dear Learn'ED collective, I trust you are well.

Sorry to interrupt the current threads but I in receipt of an enquiry
regarding "how long" a LPA has to validate a TPO application?

I've had a quick read of the planning portal but can see no information to
help...so?

Thanks in anticipation,
Paul
