The reason I was looking at FSC was that they are trying to regulate the trade in timber, something which needs doing. How effective or relevant they are I have no idea. I might try and talk to someone there.

I hadn't realised they were a charity Tahir. I presumed they were self
financing. I'd have thought there were better places to send your money,
although I've no criticism of them. from a quick search Wikipedia has equal
amounts of support and criticism about them.

We're looking t adding an environmental charity to the charities we
support (currently MSF and OnSide Youth Zones), is FSC a good idea?
Global timber trade needs policing but are they effective, are they
pursuing sensible policies?

Any views appreciated
