 The GSV photo is very fuzzy, but does this photo (orange material) resemble 
anything you've seen? I suspect the tree might be an ash, and there are signs 
of heart rot and discolored sap on the trunk being active in other parts of 
the tree, but I don't know how sound the trunk is.
