We have a top handled battery Stihl and absolutely love it. Biggest issue is
avoiding the temptation to take it out for the odd bit of ground level work,
somehow one is inclined to be a bit more casual than when messing about with
two-stroke, and I worry about shortcuts on PPE.

Fantastic bit of kit, though.

Hi stopped contracting just as E-kit began to arrive. So, all I know is from
YouTube vids & talking to users. There are many advantages; such as - Much
less noise pollution Less noise = better communications & safety Much less
atmospheric pollution Renewable energy (possibly) No dangerous containers of
fuel No damage to users health Less vibration (see above) Less to go wrong
I’ll leave it there. I think E saws/kit should be the industry standard.
Can’t wait until ICE machinery is history.

My crew have recently gone for some battery saws, mainly the climbing size.
We've always used Stihl chainsaws, (mainly because the best chainsaw
dealer sells Stihl alone) but the crew appear to be falling out with
the Stihl battery saws and are more enamoured of Husquvarna. ones.
I've rarely used either; had to check whether I'd imagined that we'd
got both brands.
