Dear all

having spent another brambly afternoon on a wet Devon bank failing to
retrieve the loose end of a diameter tape, I’m wondering if there’s an
easier way. Has anyone out there tried using forestry callipers to measure
dbh? If so has anyone got any suggestions as to a useful make? I realise
it’s not as accurate as a diameter tape, but times and places...

Thanks
