Following on from the long bow wood, I was surprised to learn that English
yew wasn’t the preferred timber but that timber was imported from Europe,
as the growing conditions produced a better grain.

Subject: Tree related questions for a quiz for ordinary people

Hello All,
I'm wanting to put together some questions for a family quiz in which
everyone else are not tree people or know much about trees.

Do you have any good tree related questions that I could use that are not
too difficult and not too obscure please?

I want to give my relatives a fighting chance of getting at least a couple
right, if not more.

Many thanks as always,

with regards
Bettina
