Speaking as a moderator, I'm not about to disallow matters not immediately relevant to tree care (apart from anything else it would disallow some of the more jokey posts, and G+d knows we need a bit of light relief every now and again!). But on the other hand I don't think we want the forum to be taken over by long ongoing discussions about Covid policy, or any other non-arb subject come to that.

judicious use of the delete button a reasonable option before wasting one's

any participant be able to close a discussion at will? As to my COVID 19, I
introduced a new subject line, believing that the thread on which the
subject was introduced was not the proper place. If I was wrong to do
this, *mea

I, too, would welcome a reasoned engagement "about the global tree health
crisis," beginning with a list of ALL relevant factors. And if there is to
be a debate, I would hope that participants would see it through to a
reasoned conclusion and summary statement, including any opposition
statement. That is to say, *disciplined.*

a clear judgement or professional opinion on?

A debate about the global tree health crisis would be most welcome.

Thank you for sending this Wayne.

The visual form of evidence given as well as the data behind it is most
helpful and it gives a balanced view of the role of WHO - which isn't
perfect, but has a difficult job - and the slowness of decisions on a good
deal of their advice. Still rocket-launched compared to the speed of their
politically driven critics.

This looks like an important video for all of us when we have the time to
look through it.
