I am not sure why Phillip does not just provide a price and move on. Why
bother trying to educate the potential client for free?

As for how much to charge I believe the AA publication on tree surveys
provides guidance on number of trees inspected per hour, dependent upon
tree population, and as such prices can be determined and justified.

The cost is not just disproportionate to the risk; it's likely to be

Are they TPO'd? And if not, should they be, as they are now implicitly
under threat?
Bill suggests throwing the ball back to the insurers; I'd suggest
throwing the whole policy at 'em. Advise the clients to seek another
insurer at the first opportunity and terminate this policy.

That’s madness!!
Are there any works that can be carried out so that the likelyhood of
any defects (if there are any) present in the tree failing can be
removed/reduced which would prevent/reduce the risk to people or cars?
The cost of monthly tree inspection would not be proportionate to the
risk posed by the said trees surely.

I have been asked today to provide cost for inspecting trees monthly,
yes inspect monthly!

Believe this is coming from insurance company as they paid out on a
failed tree that likely wrote off a car.

Kind regards
