Thanks to all who have kindly taken time to send fantastic insight into the
trials/tribulations of data capture systems off forum, it is appreciated.

For some the luxury of buying into a bespoke system for tree inspections must
make working with them far more pleasurable than trying to create one as a
bolt on to another existing system built for Highways Management. You may
wish to keep your comments invisible to uktc (so please send to me direct),
but I would be very interested to hear from those persons who are using
CONFIRM. Is it reliable, unstable, too complicated, the on-demand out in the
field and mapping functionality works with/without a hick up?? Admittedly we
are having difficulty marrying up old and previous plotted urns with gismo,
both appear separately in CONFIRM and Council mapping layer which adds to the
woes.
