Subject: Staining/Exudent on ash

All,

Quick one, have an Ash with symptoms of ADD in a POS, small patch of
dark Exudent, my thoughts turn to either HF or possibly Phytophthora, bark
hasn't begun to lift , tried to send image but couldn't .

Any thoughts? I would rather try and keep tree as its of high amenity value,
at the moment its only shedding large twigs and targets can be controlled by
fencing and client is willing to pay for remedial work and minor reduction
of extended laterals over parking space, as usual limited thought in
construction design
