I would start with P totara which grows in the South Island of NZ (there are
some hybrids too). Some homesick All Black is probably responsible. I would
ask the residents of the house for their passports to find out who to point
the finger at and remind him or her that NZ wouldn't allow a pom to import
seed. They have biosecurity & knowledge of what it entails. We visit Barnard
Castle and ride our bike in the Olympic Park and we wonder why we might have
a problem?
