fraxineusBianca,Superb , thank you for that.Funnily enough I`m ex FC/Research
and remember the days when we were administered by Alice Holt ..... also the
days of wandering the Countryside as part of the Forest Condition surveys
under Derek Redfern.Another question, is there facility within FR to test
foliage for chemical over spray ?I have a Client that is subject to
deliberate vandalism to garden trees........ fortunately this was caught on
camera but it would be good to have the dead foliage analyzed for chemical
content/residue.Thank youDavid Robertson-----Original Message-----From:

and others in FR and across the sector have been working with the Tree
Council to provide support to LPAs and others, so you might try this website
first?  There is a strategic guide, but perhaps more importantly, there are
additional resources associated with the guide which include real-world
materials from LPA's that cover issues like how they approached assessment
etc. Hope that
helps.https://treecouncil.org.uk/science-and-research/ash-dieback/local-authority-ash-dieback-action-plan-toolkit/BDr

Ash Dieback - Hymenoscyphus fraxineusDear All,On my recent travels through
the UK , it seems to be quite clear that we are about to see a catastrophic
decline in our Ash tree population. What strategies are in place (Local
Planning Authorities) to deal with this ongoing problem ?I note some LPA`s
have assessment criteria to gauge the extent of infection, if this is the
case , does anyone have it to hand or where can I find a goodassessment
methodology?Thank youDavidBNTW Scotland--The UK Tree Care mailing listTo
