So good to see a European Fig attempting what his Subtropical & Tropical
brothers are masters of!

Ficus (like Corymbia & Eucalyptus) needs his own book on arb. This genus is
remarkable. I install strangler figs up old veterans as arb service...🌏.

Sounds interesting.  Funnily enough, I came across a what looked like a
Fig growing out of a hill on the Fife Cost, near Dysart; just below
Ravenscraig Castle.  It seems to be dangling down the slope of the cliff
without making much effort to grow up.  Might be the remnant of one of the
laird's feasts?
